The Chamber Helps Create a Strong Local Economy
Everything the chamber does is designed to create a strong local economy. The Chamber:

• Builds relationships and facilitates discussion, whether it is between business, government and community organizations

• Works with community leaders to determine and  address needs by pulling  together resources

• Promotes doing businesses with other members, including developing member-to-member discounts that help your bottom line

The Chamber Helps Promote the Community
The Chamber provides information to thousands of people each year about starting a business, referring business products and services and on general community questions. The Chamber:

• Partnerships with Fulton County Schools to improve skills that will strengthen our future workforce and competitive edge in the global marketplace

• Publishes an annual guide to South Fulton, including an alphabetic and yellow page business directory to promote the community and existing businesses to make a stronger economy

• Hosts a comprehensive website at www.sfcoc.org that provides a global presence and portal to find local information and area businesses

The Chamber Provides Networking and Learning Opportunities
Networks and personal relationships are still two of the most effective means to build a business. The chamber provides multiple opportunities to meet a broad range of business people throughout the year. The Chamber offers:

• Educational forums such as our Small Business Institute and our Lunch and Learn programs

• Business leads from our staff, website and groups including our relationships built from serving on committees and taskforces

• General membership meetings to get to know others like yourself at our monthly Business After Hours and our Eggs and Issues Breakfast Forum. They are two great ways to o build business contacts and learn valuable information to make yourself more competitive

• Gatherings for senior executives at our annual golf tournament and CEO Roundtable which provides an opportunity for candid discussion on higher level issues

The Chamber Represents the Voice of Business with Government
The Chamber tracks pending legislation on the local, state and federal levels allowing you to keep an eye on your business. The Chamber also builds relationships with elected officials to create a pro-business environment and works to resolve issues in south Fulton, the State of Georgia and this country.

The chamber:

• Is a member of Regional Business Coalition, that employs a lobbyist that works full-time on your behalf, following and taking action on state legislation that affects your bottom line

• Meets regularly with local, state and federal elected officials to create understanding of specific business issues

• Coordinates candidate forums in election years and prints voting records to create accountability to the business community

• Assists to resolve issues between members and government
